Represented plaintiff golf course construction contractor in suit against owner alleging breach of construction contract.
Outcome:
Case settled after 3-day mediation for $2.5 million.

Represented plaintiff-grading contractor in construct contact dispute against major builder. Case tried through binding arbitration.
Outcome:
Award in favor of client for $504,000 plus attorneys’ fees and costs.

Represented a southern California dentist in a suit brought against him by a general contractor for monies due under contract for construction of dental office.
Outcome:  
Following 6-day binding arbitration before American Arbitration Association, contractor’s suit was defeated and the contractor was deemed to owe monies to our client for defective construction of building.

Personal injury

Represented plaintiff, an HVAC contractor, who sustained serious low back injury in an auto collision.
Outcome:
Case settled for $475,000

Represented defendant manufacturer of a high-speed conveyor system claimed by the plaintiff to be defective causing the loss of portions of his fingers.
Outcome:
Defense verdict after 3-day jury trial.

Insurance law

Represented a plaintiff policyholder in an insurance bad faith claim.
Outcome:
Case settled for $164,000

Business litigation

Represented defendant/cross complainant property owner in real estate dispute arising out of sale of our client’s property.
Outcome:
Plaintiff’s claim dismissed for waiver of costs. Our client collected $120,000 on a cross complaint against the real estate broker and escrow company.

Represented plaintiff in an international trade case involving restoration of benefits to employees of business that was destroyed by steel tariffs.
Outcome:  
Benefits restored on behalf of clients.
